The RPTU and Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, ten renowned research institutes and research-related facilities, ten companies and numerous supporting members form the Research network Science and Innovation Alliance Kaiserslautern eV (SIAK). Together they are pursuing the goal of positioning Kaiserslautern as a science location regionally, nationally and internationally. Today, the complexity of scientific and technological issues often requires interdisciplinary solutions. In application-oriented research, innovation cycles are constantly accelerating. Elaborate research projects are therefore increasingly turning to research associations in which cooperation partners from science and industry focus different competencies on specific issues. are competently processed by the members of the Science and Innovation Alliance with a focus on "Digital Transformation" in order to meet the challenges of economy and society.
