Would you like to start a new company? Then you must have many questions. The business development agency Kaiserslautern cooperates closely with the Business + Innovation Center Kaiserslautern (BIC). The BIC offers start-ups individual advice in all phases of founding, from the idea to implementation. The goal is your successful start in self-employment. For more information, see www.bic-kl.de.
The Investment and Structure Bank Rhineland-Palatinate (ISB) and the KfW Mittelstandsbank also offer support for start-ups. Information on the funding programs can be found under www.isb.rlp.de and www.kfw.de, as well as in the start-up portal of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy at www.existenzgruendung.de. There you will also find the BMWi business plan as a free app or desktop application.

The large number of spin-offs, especially in the IT sector, is proof of the innovative strength and the positive development of the Kaiserslautern region as a business location. In the meantime, a lively start-up scene has established itself in Kaiserslautern. The network initiative "Start Up Westpfalz" organizes "Founders Thursday" once a month, an open regular meeting where those interested in founding a company, young entrepreneurs, investors, etc. meet, exchange ideas and network in a relaxed atmosphere.
